Paul is a consultant, workshop facilitator, and coach in the UCSF Department of Learning and Organization Development.  

He specializes in leadership development, team dynamics, employee engagement, change leadership, and effective communication.  In each of these areas, Paul brings a relationship-centered, holistic approach to developing personal excellence and competence in the workplace.  

Paul graduated with a BA in Political Science from the University of California at Berkeley and holds a doctorate in Political Science from the University of Washington.  In addition to his work at UCSF, Paul has taught courses in organizational behavior in the University of San Francisco’s McLaren School of Management.  He also completed training in Integral Coaching and Gallup Strengths Coaching and holds an Associate Certified Coach credential from the International Coaching Federation.  Paul has been with UCSF since 2002.
