About the presenter: Alyssa Tecklenburg is the Manager of Strategic and Administrative Initiatives in the Department of Medicine's Chair's Office. During her four-year tenure at UCSF, she has been managed the department's portfolio of space, operationalized and launched a number of research-support initiatives, and project managed a million-dollar technology implementation project. She is also a co-founder and leadership team member of Women in Tech @ UCSF, a member-run group that supports career development and networking for women in technology roles at UCSF. Alyssa was introduced to the principles of using Design Thinking during her MBA program and was immediately drawn to the potential that the model has. She has used it to hone her own role and loves helping others discover what's possible for themselves.
