About this Event

The AMP Leadership Series is an opportunity to get to know senior management from the UC community on a more personal level. There will be a fireside-chat style presentation and time for Q&A at the end. This event is for registered AMP members only, advance registration is required.

About Our Speaker

Naledi Saul is the Director of the UCSF Office of Career and Professional Development. She has over 25 years of experience teaching trainees and professionals in the biomedical sciences strategies to navigate their careers and work relationships skillfully. 

‌Naledi is also a Principal Investigator on a National Science Foundation grant aimed at teaching research mentors effective people management skills designed to positively impact productivity, morale, and well-being, which are the basis of healthy, high-functioning teams. Her work has earned her the UCSF Chancellor's Award for Exceptional University Management and the Chancellor's Award for Diversity-Advancement of Women Leaders.

Before joining UCSF, Naledi served as Assistant Dean of Students at Amherst College and Assistant Director of the Career Development Center at Mount Holyoke College. She holds a Master of Public Management from the University of Maryland, College Park, and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Spelman College.
