Yasmin Sidi is with the Office of the President where she uses her skills to increase adoption on UC’s centralized travel program by promoting it to more than 250K faculty and staff, across 10 campuses, 5 medical centers, and 3 national labs. She has scaled the internal communication and training offering to include a social media presence, robust schedule of webinars and ad hoc sessions on the nuanced aspects of travel booking, policy and expenses, within a complex environment. Prior to joining UC, Yasmin was instrumental in the launch of a staff training center for the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), in Africa, which was followed up by her time at National Geographic Society where she was integral to the reboot of the Expeditions program. Yasmin has a Master’s degree in Instructional Design and is a continuing board member on the San Francisco chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) as Director of Professional Development where she has promoted and facilitated sessions on "Change Communication Strategies," "Crisis Communication Tips," and “Building a Social Media Presence.”
